This inspirational easy to read book describes how your perceptions control everything you see and hear, while providing useful life tools to create a better life. It provides tools for you to learn to embrace change and understand how it can make you have a new perception of everything that you do. It gives you the opportunity to test yourself as to where you are in your life versus where you would like to be. You are taken through numerous exercises to help you understand yourself in more detail.
So if you are one of those people who believe that good fortune, success, blooming health and all the perks of a wealthy lifestyle comes to a select few, who somehow have managed to win life's lottery, your not alone?
What we fail to realize is that this type of thinking is one of the barriers that are holding us back from our success. That's right - if you think that you can't succeed and live the life you want to live, you will be right - every time.
What have you accomplished in life because of a new perception, a new way that you looked at things and people around you?

Is There a Recession? Should You Be Scared?
by Stephen Mark
Is all the hustle and bustle getting the best (or worst) of you? Are you treating others like you want to be treated or are you just acting? Are you feeling overwhelmed with all the world events being streamed right into your living room, or your office, or even worse – directly to your cell phone or PDA? Another commercial for one of those “fix-it-all” drugs looking like the answer to your problems and stress? Look again...
Take a deeper look at what’s happening. We are all consistently bombarded with world events as they occur. But wait, there’s a catch – it’s mostly negative information - who got robbed, shot, accidents, natural disasters and not just from your town or state, but from around the world. With todays technologically advanced reporting tools, we can report from almost anywhere imaginable, including space.
What is this doing to us personally and professionally? Apparently it is causing overwhelming feelings of stress, sometimes feeling down in the dumps listening to all that bad news and the negatives of what’s happening in the world. Think back to when your parents were growing up, did they hear and have to digest all of this? I don’t believe so. Not on this level that we’re on.
How can you change this? Easily, control what you do and what you take in. You can choose to turn on the TV, read the online headlines as they occur, listen to the news radio about everything that’s wrong. Or, you can choose to listen to music in between, have some quiet time to yourself, for your family, have some meditation time, etc.
Choose what you take in by modifying how you perceive events. Most of us have been trained since being kids to take in all the information in front of us – the bad and the good – but mostly the negative. What if you could learn from the bad, but only digest or take in the lessons learned? This is what our subconscious mind does for us? It helps create our perceptions of everyday life, both real and sometimes imagined.
You control your thoughts by giving your subconscious mind food for thought. When you have negative thoughts and are dwelling on them, that is what your subconscious mind will help you create. Have you ever noticed when one big bad event in your life goes wrong, many more follow? This doesn’t just happen to you, it happens to most people when they let their mind spiral out of control. Keep in mind, your sub-conscious is your assistant working for you, you are constantly creating your future and daily events. Sometimes when you don’t even know it. Remember the old adage? Be careful what you wish for. Wish for creating your dream life.
You can choose to be happy living your dream life, or you can choose to be sad and stressed out. But ask yourself some normal and basic questions to see if these feelings are even justified. Why am I sad? Is there a reason to be sad? Am I healthy? Did I wake up today? Do I have people to love that love me back? Did I give or help anyone lately? *This is really important. If you stop being selfish and start giving of yourself, whether it be in time donated or spent with someone, or it could be monetary donations, clothing or furniture donations, etc. If you start helping others, you will start feeling better about yourself and more will come to you as well. You may even find your passion in doing so. You might even find your dream life while helping someone else.
Be a creator.
Remember, if you pay it forward, help others, you will be helping yourself. Selfishness gets back selfishness from others. Giving on the other hand, will help both you and all the other peoples lives you impact. Slow-down, take time to enjoy life before it passes you by. Enjoy your friends and family. It’s bound to change the way you look at events every single day of your life.
